OAK Business Solutions (OAK) was founded in October 2016 with a specific purpose of supporting Small, Medium and Micro-sized enterprises (SMME’s) navigate the often cumbersome compliance statutory requirements of operating a business legally in South Africa. These compliance regulations can be time consuming and unaffordable to both newly & more established businesses. We have found that although these SMME’s want to be compliant with these statutory requirements they often cannot afford to employ suitably qualified employees to fulfil this function. Although we have a bias towards SMME’s we offer our services to both the private and public sectors.
We at OAK offer our clients a tailor made affordable solutions based on their specific requirements. We offer an outsourced solution replacing a few employees and sometimes even an entire department at a fraction of the cost. We offer payroll, bookkeeping (and accounting), tax and transactional advisory (including business plans) services with a specific focus on SMME’s.
We also offer a variety of services such as business rescue, independent reviews and financial data analysis in various projects such as forensic & other types of investigations.
Akofang Kgomo (CEO and Founder)
Akofang holds a Bcom (Financial Accounting) and is a qualified Business Accountant in Practice (BAP SA – SAIBA Member),a registered Tax Practitioner (General Tax Practitioner SA – SAIT member) & a licensed Business Rescue Practitioner. He has held various positions in the accounting functions at various entities JSE listed companies and brings over 15 years’ experience in Cost & Management Accounting, Tax and Financial Accounting as well as in the field of Consultancy. His passion is assisting SMME’s navigate the often challenging compliance environment using cost effective tools and systems that he has both learned and developed over the years. He also has a passion in capacitating schools and public sector institutions in order for them to comply with their various statutory requirements.
At OAK Business Solutions he is charge of driving the overall strategy of the business as well as client relations.
Docky Bancho (Compliance and Office Manager)
Docky brings a wealth of experience to OAK Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd. She has over 15 years of experience in legal, finance & human resource, construction, and transportation administration. She joined the company in 2019. She is responsible for all the compliance and administrative functions of the business.
Docky is a value member of our team who employs a positive and winning approach to her work.
